One post, two baby boy cards!

A 5x5 inch new baby boy card using  LOTV image and sentiment stamps.  The stripy paper is from DCWV and the blue gingham from a Papermania 6x6 pad. I used the little flower punches from QVC and a bit of blue ribbon.  I edged the mats with a dotted pen line.
The insert was made on the computer.

Another new baby boy card but a different colour scheme, I fancied a change from pale blue!  This one is a large 8x8 inch card. The train and sentiment were cut with my New Arrival Cricut cart and the background card is a glittered flower stock from Hunkydory.  I added a few gems and glittered flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I didn't think this needed a lot of fuss!

Another computer generated insert.

Sorry the descriptions are brief, time is short at the moment!

New Baby Girl

Well, I promised to post so I'd better fulfill!!
This is the A4 sized card I made for a work colleague's new baby.  The image is a LOTV stamp 'Special Delivery'.  The mounts are Spellbinders dies, the background a Cuttlebug folder and the name is cut on the Cricut using 'Learning Curve'.  I made the pram using the Princess Pram template from Arty Farty.  All the flowers were from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Arty Farty Cherish Basket

Here's tonight's posting!

I made this from an Arty Farty template (Cherish) for a work colleague - to go with the socks. This one was quite easy to make.  I added loads of lace around the basket stand.  The hood and apron were run through my swiss dots embossing folder to add some texture and the box is made from Kanban embossed white card. I was really happy with this one and my friend had a tear in his eye when I gave it to him!   I've made another for the other friend's baby which is a different pattern.  I'll post that tomorrow.  Off to make a card now.

Yummy Cupcakes!

I have so neglected my little blog and my followers over the last couple of months, really sorry.  We lost my lovely Mum in Law last month and I just haven't got round to adding to my blog.  I haven't been idle mind you, I've made loads of cards and other things so will try and add a few each week until I'm up to date.
Well here's today's offering.  We have had two new babies at work and I have made cards and cribs which I'll upload another day but in the meantime this is what I've been doing today.  I used 10 pairs of Mothercare socks which resulted in 5 cupcakes each. They are just rolled up with a flower in the top and plonked in a paper cake case - you can find how to on You tube.  I made the boxes, they're a bit rough but I was tired by the time I finished . They'll do for school tomorrow anyway.  I'll add the cards etc over the next week - I've still got loads to make!!
Catch you all later!! :)

The ribbon's squiffy 'cos the glitter on the flower was still wet at the time!

New Baby Card No 3.

Used my sizzix baby blocks for this one and the swiss dots folder for the background. It's funny, all three babies were boys!

New Baby Card No 2.

Sorry about the poor quality photo, don't know what happened here!

I've had three cards to make for three new babies over the last few weeks so here's the second one. This was a simple one using a sizzix 'onesie' die which I used in the cuttlebug. Swiss dots background and my quikcutz alphabet.
