Truly Scrumptious Challenge.

I had to make a quick card so thought I'd make it a challenge one as I haven't done one for so long! The image is from Stampabilities - Bunny Cruise, coloured with Promarkers. The bp is Basic Grey -Sugared. Flowers from Poppicrafts. A peeloff sentiment and Papermania sparkly dots finish it off. This was a really great sketch to work from, it will be so useful. Oh and it's glittered with a Sakura pen too!

Happy Hopper Birthday.

A quick square birthday card using a stamp called Tall Tales, a Stampabilities Happy Hopper stamp. It's coloured with Promarkers again and the rabbits are glazed with Glossy Accents. I used my Martha Stewart heart border punch as a corner punch and used the waste hearts to decorate the image. Bp is Basic Grey. Prima hydrangeas and a peeloff greeting complete the card.

Happy Hopper Birthday.

I made this card for my daughter's friend, Charlotte. The image is a Happy Hopper stamp from Stampabilities called 'Rabbits of the Round Table'. I used Promarkers and was pleased with the results as I normally watercolour these images. They are so easy to colour, perfect for a beginner as all the detail is in the stamp itself. Blueberry Hill paper as before, I just adore it and will have to get another pad soon! Poppicrafts flower, Papermania Retro brad and Papermania free sentiment stamp (I have really found this useful) complete the card.

Retirement Cards.

A dear friend and colleague retired from teaching after 46 years at my school this Easter. She retired officially seven years ago but came back part time to work as the school Librarian. I was asked by the Head to make a large card for everyone at school to sign so hence the 'book' theme on this A4 card. Inside it said 'Celebrate' with another Ethel image!
The stamps are from Murray and Ethel Set One, coloured with Promarkers and Glossy Accents. I made the backing paper with an image from MS Clipart.
The second card is the one I made to give her from the family. The stamp is a Stampabilities Happy Hopper called Bunny Cruise. I used glossy accents on the duck, glass and rubber ring. Flowers again from Poppicrafts, sentiments made on the computer.

Help Me I'm Addicted!!

How cute is this?
Will Knit For Friends No HMOR1132 Eggcellant HMVR1007 I've been making a few Easter cards tonight with my new Happy Hopper stamps. I have to confess that I'm fast developing an addiction for these stamps from Stampabilities. I've got to add the greetings but I left my peeloffs at school today. I've been teaching my class quilling today, something which 'I' thought was easy, ha ha, how wrong was I!! lol

Second attempt with Promarkers!

This is my second attempt with the second lot of markers I bought. I think it's slightly better being less dark but the close up shot makes it look like I've missed a bit of their tummies out where it's blended (note to self, get new glasses!!) but on the actual card this isn't as visible. I need a magnifying mirror to colour them in, lol, as you can't see this until it's photographed up close!

I made two cards today!

Well, I managed to make two cards today when I should have been helping hubby put up the wallpaper! Glad he didn't mind too much! The first is my Docrafts February Friendship Swap card made for Liza31. The stamp is a Stampabilities Happy Hopper called 'Carrot Juice'. The sentiment is from HOTP. The flower is from Poppicrafts and I used my new label Nestabilities. The paper was a bit of free paper from a magazine that I had left over, I thought it was just the right colours. I used glossy accents on the jar. The second is a little card I made for a friend who is struggling with arthritis at the moment. I used the Nestabilities again and the image is from Louise's 'Cats' collection, a download from Charmed Cards and Crafts. I printed the sentiment on the computer. Got to go and clear up the mess now, you wouldn't think just two cards could make so much mess!! lol

Valentine's Birthday.

I've made this card for my Sister in Laws Birthday which is on Valentine's day. The stamp is a Happy Hopper called Happy Valentine's. Our Umax scanner packed up before Christmas and we have a Canon one now but it's not half as good - any 3D element on a card makes the main image out of focus!
Been and had my filling today and it wasn't half as bad as I had anticipated. Haven't got to go for six months now - whoopee!
