This card was a request for a romantic birthday card for hubby's friend to give to his wife. The main image is a La Blanche stamp coloured with distress inks. I stamped and embossed a flourish in gold in the corner below the flowers The bp is from Graphic45 - I love their papers. I've used Wiild Orchid Crafts roses to embellish it with loads of pearls and some lace. The sentiment is printed on the computer.

I've just made ths tiny easel card from my Octagonal Scalloped Nesties and Bazzil card. The tree is a stamp from Crafty Impressions. The leaves are cut with a Cuttlebug die, run through a swirls embossing folder and the versamarked and embossed in gold. I've use Vintage Photo distress ink around the edges of the leaves and all the mats. The sentiment is from a Creative Expressions set of leaf stamps. I've stuck on some crystals and pearls and a glittered flower to finish.

Two Challenges.
Whoo, hoo, I've posted a challenge card!! Not been here for ages what with holidays and then returning to work. I've made a few cards and have made this one at the weekend.
I made this card for my daughter's friend. The image is a Tilda stamp - coloured with Promarkers. She is sitting on a ribbon in which there's a knot (Truly Scrumptious extra) I used My Mind's Eye pink paper for the bp. The background card is Bazzill card which I've distressed around the edges with a craft knife and then inked with Distress inks - Dusty Concorde and Aged Mahogany. I scored some of the card with the knife and I like the effect the ink has in these cuts. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the border and a Wild Orchid Crafts rose in the corner with Martha Stewart punched leaves. I made the flowers on the right hand side using flower shapes which I cut on the Cricut. I inked these with the Distress Inks. I used pearls, stickles and a Cardcraft sentiment to finish. Only thing is it wouldn't go in the envelope!!
I'd like to enter it into two challenges:
Truly Scrumptious Sketch Challenge
(Use a knot)
and
(Make your own flower)

My First Distress Card aka Tim Holtz.
As it's holiday week still I was having a play yesterday - made quite a mess actually and distressed myself with the ink too, (it's only just washed off) and this is the result!! It's a large 8x8 card which I am sending to a young lady in the USA who has MS. I've had all the 'stuff ' for making this type of card for ages but have never really had a proper go with it. I love Tim Holtz products (I've got quite a few actually) but haven't made anything from them - I look a lot and then put it all away again! Anyway I thought you might like to see my latest effort. I shall try and describe how I made it now!
Backing Paper
I started with a sheet of My Mind's Eye paper and distressed the edge with Antique Linen ink. I then stamped over it using 3 different stamps and Vintage Photo ink. I brushed Heritage Gold perfect pearls over the whole sheet and it stuck to the inky bits. The cherub was stamped in black archival ink, clear embossed and coloured with distress ink and stickles. I over stamped some more flourishes and clear embossed these too to add texture. Finally I went around the edge of the sheet again with Vintage Photo.
