As I've had a little time off school this week I thought I'd better start on the numerous things I have to make. This is the first cot out of the four/five I have to make for the first baby due in April. I have until June and August for the rest! The parents know it will be a boy, in fact out of the five, two know the sex of the baby - I liked to wait for the suprise personally especially as they are first babies! Anyway this is a blue cot - I used my Arty Farty template (easy to make but a the mobile is a little fiddly). I used Papermania Rose Garden paper as it's a pretty blue and rose pattern (you don't say, lol). I've added some beads to the front side and only used acetate for the front of the box to save using all my stash! It looks plain now but I'll add a name plate to the end of the cot, a label and some ribbon on the box when the baby arrives.

Arty Farty Cherish Cot

LOTV Challenge 79 - Lena's Sketch

I thought it was about time I entered a challenge this new year and this looked like a super sketch to use. I had a birthday card to make for a friend and I just love this LOTV fairy stamp but instead of the usual girly pinks I thought I'd use browns and gold for a change.
Recipe:
Stamps: LOTV On Tiptoe, LOTV Circle sentiment- coloured with Promarkers
Bp - Papermania Victoria and Albert,
Petite Circle Nestabilities
Corners - Cricut Straight From The Nest Cartridge
Wild Orchid Crafts Flowers and Stickles
Gems from stash
I really loved using this sketch, thanks Lena.

Birthday Butterfly
I have to thank my friend Kaz for this design. I cut an aperture with a nestie and made a frame. The paper is from Papermania - Blueberry Hill. QVC punched flowers to decorate and a Marianne Creatables Butterfly finishes it off. Thank you Kaz for your beautiful birthday card, I couldn't resist using your design.

Get Well Soon (again!)
Here is another get well soon card for a friend who has been rather poorly but is hopefully on the mend now. The image is a Sarah Kay one from a children's download colouring pages site which I coloured with Promarkers and Copics again. I used Glossy Accents to highlight it. Background paper is from Papermania. This is a tri-fold card but I didn't photograph the inside. :( I finished it with a flower, ribbon, pearls and a peeloff sentiment. I was going for a vintage look but didn't quite get there, I think lol!!
