New Baby Girl

Well, I promised to post so I'd better fulfill!!
This is the A4 sized card I made for a work colleague's new baby.  The image is a LOTV stamp 'Special Delivery'.  The mounts are Spellbinders dies, the background a Cuttlebug folder and the name is cut on the Cricut using 'Learning Curve'.  I made the pram using the Princess Pram template from Arty Farty.  All the flowers were from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Arty Farty Cherish Basket

Here's tonight's posting!

I made this from an Arty Farty template (Cherish) for a work colleague - to go with the socks. This one was quite easy to make.  I added loads of lace around the basket stand.  The hood and apron were run through my swiss dots embossing folder to add some texture and the box is made from Kanban embossed white card. I was really happy with this one and my friend had a tear in his eye when I gave it to him!   I've made another for the other friend's baby which is a different pattern.  I'll post that tomorrow.  Off to make a card now.

Arty Farty Wedding Cake

I've made another cake, for my friend Angie this time.  It's an Arty Farty template and for this one I made an acetate box for a change,  I used Wild Orchid Crafts flowers in her favourite colours to decorate with hearts from Hobbycraft.  I've bought the new round cake template so shall be trying that for the next one I do.

Arty Farty Cherish Cot

As I've had a little time off school this week I thought I'd better start on the numerous things I have to make.  This is the first cot out of the four/five I have to make for the first baby due in April.  I have until June and August for the rest!  The parents know it will be a boy, in fact out of the five, two know the sex of the baby - I liked to wait for the suprise personally especially as they are first babies!  Anyway this is a blue cot - I used my Arty Farty template (easy to make but a the mobile is a little fiddly).  I used Papermania Rose Garden paper as it's a pretty blue and rose pattern (you don't say, lol).  I've added some beads to the front side and only used acetate for the front of the box to save using all my stash!   It looks plain now but I'll add a name plate to the end of the cot, a label and some ribbon on the box when the baby arrives.

Colin Car

Here's the third wedding item I made recently. There are 3 staff members getting married this summer in our school. This is my second Colin Car from Arty Farty and this time it's in West Ham Utd colours for our Deputy Head. He liked it so much he's going to put it on the top table at the wedding! It's decorated with flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Tilly Cake No 2

This is the second cake with a cream and white theme this time. The photos aren't great again but you get the idea. I'm going to make a Golden Wedding themed one next. I used Kanban embossed card again, it comes in cream or white in 12x12 card and is absolutely gorgeous.

Tilly Wedding Cake No1.

I have made two of these so far and loved every minute of it. This one has a red and white theme, the wedding colours. I used Kanban embossed card for the cakes and then just embellished them with ribbons, flowers and hearts. You can go to town on the embellishments. I used Pinflair glue gel to glue them on. I used peel offs on the box. The template is from Arty Farty and was easy to make. They come out of the box but I didn't have time to photograph them as it's fiddly to get them back in. The sentiment on the box has the bride and groom's names and the wedding date. I cut the Mr & Mrs tag on the Cricut.

Colin Car - part one!

Some pics of the car I made for hubby's friend's wedding, earlier this month.

Colin Car and Card - part two!

I made this car from an Artyfarty template, it was easier than expected. It was a bit rushed so I didn't add a lot of embellishments. I thought it looked ok as it was anyway. The flowers were from Hobbycraft, the acetate window was from Dawn Bibby (Topaz Crafts). I made the card to match using a Sizzix embossing folder - Wedding Set in the Cuttlebug. They work ok but are a bit stiff to put through.
