As I've been neglecting my blog again I thought I'd show you what I've done instead! I've been having a little play with my stamps and brayer (not making Xmas cards, oh dear) and came up with this picture which I've given to my Headteacher to remind her to slow down!! We've just had a mini Ofsted inspection and she's been tearing around everywhere! I brayered the background although you can't see it much. The trees are Crafty Individuals 'Hug a Tree' stamps and the flowers are from a Graphicus Wild Flower themeplate. The birds are a Clarity stamp. I used a Big and Juicy 'Foliage' inkpad. The sentiment is computer generated. I wish I'd done it on glossy card but I was quite pleased with the result. She has it hanging on her office wall!
WOW great job I love the brayer and yes it takes a bit of work to come up with cards like those! well done you! and I have missed your last few cards some how too! they are really good too! :0)
ReplyDeleteWow Sue this is beautiful, hopefully i will get round to using my brayer one day,

wow what a beautiful arty card. I REALLY adore this one is got everything going for it and just has a real heartfelt feel to it. It almost reminds me of those blue mountain arts cards but of course a milion times better because its hand crafted with love and thought. fabulous. you should create a set of these and sell them on etsy.com
