Truly Scrumptious Challenge.

I had to make a quick card so thought I'd make it a challenge one as I haven't done one for so long! The image is from Stampabilities - Bunny Cruise, coloured with Promarkers. The bp is Basic Grey -Sugared. Flowers from Poppicrafts. A peeloff sentiment and Papermania sparkly dots finish it off. This was a really great sketch to work from, it will be so useful. Oh and it's glittered with a Sakura pen too!

I've got an Award!!

My lovely crafty friend Carol has nominated me for this award. I don't think I am half as worthy as Carol, check out her blog http://caroljenks.blogspot.com/ if you've never been there, it's so inspiring.
Well, to accept this award I've got to think of 7 things that you might not know about me which could be a little tricky as I can't think of 3 interesting things, let alone 7!!
Here goes:
1. I don't like fruit, salad or vegetables and only really eat, peas, carrots, sweetcorn and potatoes without whinging!
2. I'd love to be a vegetarian but would struggle because of the above reasons!!
3. I've signed the official secrets act!
4. I don't like flying but have been up in a Hercules transport plane over the Severn Bridge!
5. I've only been abroad for 13 days of my life!
6. I have ridden a bike to work for the past 15 years!
7. My Mum's cousin is married to Colin Firth's uncle! (Never met him though, more's the pity!!)
Well that seemed like confession time and they aren't 'that' interesting I'm afraid - I lead a very quiet life lol!!
Thanks again for the award Carol,

Happy Hopper Birthday.

A quick square birthday card using a stamp called Tall Tales, a Stampabilities Happy Hopper stamp. It's coloured with Promarkers again and the rabbits are glazed with Glossy Accents. I used my Martha Stewart heart border punch as a corner punch and used the waste hearts to decorate the image. Bp is Basic Grey. Prima hydrangeas and a peeloff greeting complete the card.

Tina Wenke Birthday Card.

This is the DL card I made for a friend using a Tina Wenke stamp called Orange Daisy. I coloured the image with Promarkers and highlighted parts with a silver glitter sakura pen. The bp was from Basic Grey and I used a Martha Stewart scalloped dot border punch. The brad is from Dovecraft and the flower from Poppicrafts before they stopped stocking flowers. A peeloff greeting, ribbon and three papermania silver dots complete the card.

Thanks for looking.

These are a few of the photos I took this Saturday dinner time!

How beautiful is this little one. Just sitting on the lawn this lunch time enjoying the sunshine!

And more!

Here are some more!

Having a good scratch!

Diary of a foxy family!

I thought I'd add a few more photos of our garden friends as I have hundreds now!! Almost every day there's either one, two or all three in the garden. I took these during the week, they are usually to be found kipping up the garden from mid morning until mid afternoon!! Hubby mowed the lawn in the week and I thought they'd go but they were there next day as usual. It's becoming a routine now and even stops me putting out the washing for fear of disturbing their kip!!

Thanks for looking!

I hope you have enjoyed looking at 'some' of our holiday snaps!! There are many more!! lol We had a fabulous holiday and I've now got the task of making a scrapbook with them although I think that might be a job for next summer - oh the joys of school holidays, lol. They're at an end now but I have enjoyed every minuite of this one!

The last night!

Harry and his 'young lady'!!
Our view from the stage!

On our final evening our organiser arranged a visit to a traditional Tirol evening in a nearby hotel. Un be known to us he had got everyone seats on the stage!! My poor Harry ( being a fine young man!!) got chosen to join in!! When we got over the shock of being in front of the audience we thoroughly enjoyed the singing and dancing.

Hansi Hinterseer!

While we were in Kitzbuhel we knew that Hansi Hinterseer would be performing that night in the stadium. What we didn't know was that he would be doing a 'fanwandering' at the top of the mountain! When we got out of our cable car it was like being royalty as there were thousands of people, tele cameras etc all lined up waiting for him. It turned out he was two cable cars behind us!! There were 10,000 or so people on the mountain and areas were set up with speakers and he sang to them then led them off across the hills where he sang again. We came back down when they'd gone after we'd taken our photos before all 10,000 arrived back at the cable car to go down. Harry got some video of him but to tell the truth he wasn't that good a singer!! He used to be a skier and is as famous in Austria as David Beckham is in the UK!! He wasn't that bad looking though, for a 54yr old!!

The Hahnenkamm

View from the top!
The cafe and museum at the top of the cable car. Our hotel (in the middle) from the top of the Hahnenkamm! Brixem in the distance. Looking down the Streif!
I must get some skis!! Harry ready for the off!
View from the cable car.

We took the cable car in Kitzbuhel up the Hahnenkamm. This is one of the mountains used in the annual World Cup downhill skiing championships. The course is called The Streif. We were able to stand at the top of the course and look down and in the starting hut. Rather them than me!!
